Mint Finance is dedicated to supporting charities and events to improve the wellbeing of others. We have, and still are in the process of forming alliances with charities to donate a percentage of our commissions to several foundations.
Especially close to Leah’s heart is the Heart Kids Foundation and Precious Hearts Foundation. Both of these organisations are focused on helping children and their families affected by heart disease.
The increased interest in fundraising and supporting charities arose from a life changing period in Leah’s life. In 2011 her 10 month old nephew Zane was diagnosed with heart disease. After three major surgeries and five months later, little Zane is still fighting through each day, however unfortunately all surgical and medical treatments have been exhausted, and Zane is now at home enjoying what precious time he has left with his family.
This very personal cause has made Leah and her family realise each day we have with our loved ones is so precious, and when we are in the position to help others we certainly should reach out and do everything we can to help.
